The often and in diverse contexts reiterated ‘Pusztai-story’ helps to illustrate how I would like to catch the complexities of science/media relations and bind them into a narrative by following a scientific product on its way, in this case, from the ‘peaceful’ laboratory in Aberdeen’s Rowett Research Institute into the public debate about the introduction of genetically modified food in Great Britain, geographically centred in London.
